Intern Program
Jackson County Fire District 1 offers a student intern program that pays for tuition and books, provides training and allows selected candidates hands on experience. The selected interns will be assigned to a shift and will work side by side with our Professional Firefighters and Volunteers. Jackson County Fire District 1 provides full service to our community ranging from structure and wild land fires, EMS / Ambulance service, MVC response, water rescue and fire prevention.
